ABOUT

THE QLINE
MISSION

QLINE is a catalyst for a robust and accessible regional mobility system creating equitable opportunities for all. We connect residents, visitors, and businesses through an exceptional streetcar experience.

HISTORY

WHO OPERATES
THE QLINE

The QLINE began as M-1 RAIL, a non-profit organization formed in 2007 to lead the design, construction, and operation of a 3.3-mile circulating streetcar along Woodward Avenue. The QLINE’s operation and management, as originally envisioned by M-1 RAIL, was transferred to the RTA in September 2024. Our team of transportation experts, operators, and service people is dedicated to providing the best possible experience for each and every rider.
